Opioids are a group of drugs that includes morphine, methadone, codeine, hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxycodone, buprenorphine, and fentanyl. Vicodin®, Lortab®, Percocet®, OxyContin®, Dilaudid®, and Demerol® are common brand names of opioids. Before taking opioids, it is important to identify your level of risk for addiction.
